PRESENTATION OF A PAPER
- Each of the rooms where the sessions will be held is equipped with a video projector.
- Each session will last between 60 minutes and 90 minutes, and will be divided equally between the papers.
- It is strongly suggested that authors plan a presentation of no more than 15 minutes for finalized papers and no more than 10 minutes for papers in progress. The aim is to allow 10-15 minutes for questions and discussion, and to allow the next presenter to start at the scheduled time.
- Each presenter should bring the file (Microsoft PowerPoint) of their presentation saved on a USB key (in case of problems).
CHAIRING THE SESSION
The main tasks of the session chairs are to :
- Have read the papers of the presented papers
- Arrive 10 minutes before the start of a session
- Get to know the presenters of the papers
- Introduce each paper in the session to the audience
- Ensure that the presentation time allocated to each presenter is respected
- Maintain, if necessary, a professional dialogue between the participants
- Initiate or re-initiate discussions by asking one or more questions
